iClima Earth Ltd., a Green FinTech Company based out of London. Their progressive focus is to invest in companies who can decarbonize our planet. The website contains the following sentence: “We think the best way for us to reduce the amount of carbon in the air is to not emit in the first instance.” This statement describes the thought process behind iClima Earth and makes it unique. In a press statement, the company announced that it had launched two U.S. listed ETFs to help next-generation companies who are struggling to combat global warming and rising carbon emissions invest in “doing better” instead of less harm.

Gabriela Herculano Shaila Khan Lekha and Steve Berry are all Wharton alumni and came together because of shared interests. All three have extensive experience in the finance sector.

The following text explains the two ETFs that iClima Earth offers.

CLMA (iClima Global Decarbonization Transition Leaders ETF)

CLMA is a world-first UCITS ETF for climate change that offers insights into the performance and products of companies that offer services to help reduce CO2 emissions. The CLMA has a unique feature in that the focus is shifted from companies that reduce emissions, to those that offer products and services which directly lead to solutions that are CO2-equivalent. It also draws attention to climate innovators.

Tesla is one example.

SHFT (iClima Distributed Renewable Energy Leaders ETF).

The iClima Earth Smart Energy Fund gives investors the chance to invest in companies at the forefront of a rapidly growing market for renewable energy distributed generation. The fund highlights companies that are capable of storing and producing electricity locally, decentralized and modularly using renewable energy. It gives access to companies that promote the decentralization and management of renewable energy at the point of consumption, such as residential solar panels, smart meters, or vehicle-to grid electricity.
